BASIC ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE

For example: signing a remote job contract.

ADVANCED ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE

It uses a double safety factor. Once you have logged in with your credentials (username and password), request a pin code which you will receive via “sms” (code is valid for single use and for a limited time-OTP One Time Password). It is commonly used in electronic banking.

For example: signing an employment contract.

QUALIFIED ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE

Based on a qualified electronic signature certificate issued by an approved certifying body (IZENPE, FNMT, etc.). Legally comparable to handwritten signature. 

For example: a home sale contract, which you could sign with your electronic ID.
