You can register for METAPOSTA by going to any Kzgunea centre with your valid I.D. card or Foreigners I.D., (there is no need for any digital certificate).

You can also register for METAPOSTA with BakQ, which is a means of identification and electronic signature that can be used both on computers, smartphones and tablets, on any operating system and without the need to install anything. 

Register-access with BakQ 

There are 3 different ways to get the BakQ card: 

• If you have an Izenpe citizen certificate or a DNIe you can apply for BakQ from

To register with a digital certificate, press the button (on the top right-hand side) "ACCESS TO MY MAILBOX", and in this section choose "With a digital certificate" .

Register-access with digital certificate 

The digital signature certificates recognised at METAPOSTA are:

• Electronic I.D. card
• IZENPE certificates
• CAMERFIRMA certificates
• Spanish Mint  (CERES) Certificate
• Corporate certificates of Osakidetza and the Universidad Pública Vasca (UPV)
• Certificates of the Autoridad de Certificación de la Abogacía (ACA)

Registration is done from the financial institution. You only have to be registered as a user for the online banking service of any of the collaborating institutions.
